Weiss Scholarship Foundation Announces 16 New Scholarship Recipients

The Weiss Scholarship Foundation (WSF) is very proud to announce sixteen new scholarship recipients in Dago, Kenya.  This breaks our previous record of twelve last year.  The sixteen students and the high schools they will be attending are:

In total, WSF has now awarded seventy full four-year high school scholarships in a village where few had ever gone to high school before.  Twenty-four students have graduated high school and eight have gone on to University.  The rest we work with to get placed in Vocational Schools.

Our donors have dramatically improved the lives of seventy children in Kenya.  Not only will their lives be better, but so will the lives of their families, children, the village and all of Kenya.

WSF thanks the many hundreds of people and organizations whose donations over these years have made all of this possible.  We hope you will continue to support our work.  We are very proud of what we have accomplished, but we have just begun.  There is so much more work that needs to be done because there are so many children who need our help.

WSF is crazy enough to believe that we can create a world where every child gets a great education!  Educating children is the only long-term sustainable solution towards solving the world’s problems.  It is the solution that solves all the other problems.  One child at a time we can make the world a much better place.
